Here is an exceptionally rare list of County Londonderry’s High Sheriffs, across over two hundred years, from the late 1600s to the late 1800s.
Unfortunately, unlike with the Country Antrim sheriff data, there is no information available regarding which village or town each sheriff was originally from.

This is very interesting. Can I find out more about George H Boggs in 1829 please
The Londonderry corporation minutes page 6,10 on PRONI [Public Records office of Northern Ireland] NI Direct say John Riddall, John Riddell was to be sheriff for the rest of the year and that an oath was required (not sure if this is oath to Protestant, Covenant or to Church of Ireland?) Should I use the FAN principal and research the others listed with him as Alderman and Burgesses in 1704? Do you know if the Sheriffs were required to have residence in Londondonderry County or only Londonderry city or the Liberties of Londonderry. Was Colrain part of Londonderry County by this time or still in Colrain county?
